Selena Gomez glammed up to attend the TIME 100 Summit, which was held inside Jazz at Lincoln Center in Midtown Manhattan on Wednesday morning.
The 31-year-old ‘Texican’ pop star did not make into the magazine’s 100 most influential people list this year, but she was enlisted to be one of the speakers.
Selena slipped her curvaceous 5ft5in frame into a black Brandon Maxwell dress, featuring PVC material on the bust and belt, with matching Black Suede Studio peep-toe heels selected by stylist Erin Walsh.
Gomez spoke on The Beauty of Impact panel at 10am alongside Elyse Cohen, the VP of social impact and inclusion for her cosmetic company Rare Beauty, and it was moderated by TIME senior editor Lucy Feldman.
The two-time Grammy nominee originally launched her $2B-valued Rare Beauty in 2020, and it amassed $400M in net sales over the past year thanks to her captive, combined 648.8M social media following.
‘I don’t think I’m going anywhere. I am enjoying this a little too much,’ she said of Rare Beauty’s success.
Outside the venue, Selena wore black sunglasses and covered up in a black leather duster to combat the Big Apple’s spring chill.
Gomez — toting a $790 Completedworks ‘Lunchbox’ leather clutch — was surrounded by fans and photographers as she tried to get back to her SUV.
On Monday night, the former Disney Channel star and her boyfriend since June — 11-time Grammy nominee Benny Blanco —
enjoyed a hot date where they watched the New York Knicks beat the Philadelphia 76ers (104-101) at Madison Square Garden in Midtown Manhattan.
The 36-year-old music producer co-wrote and produced Selena’s 2023 song Single Soon, which peaked at No. 19 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
But Gomez — who previously dated Drew Taggart, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber — has technically been collaborating with Benny (born Benjamin Levin) as far back as 2015 on her second studio album Revival.
