Natural-born performer Dolly Parton and Vince Gill combine their voices for “He Stopped Loving Her Today.”

Fans in Nashville, Tennessee enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime event to benefit the Country Music Museum and Hall of Fame. The crowd was enthralled by Dolly Parton, Keith Urban and Vince Gill. Parton leads “He Stopped Loving Her Today” with the other two instrumentals.

No one entertains or engages with a crowd quite like an icon. You’d think he was talking to just one person when he addresses thousands at a massive, sold-out Country Music Hall of Fame ceremony.

On April 14, 1980, George Jones released “He Stopped Loving Her Today” as the lead single from his album I Am What I Am. Since its release, it has been widely recognized as one of the best, if not the best, country songs of all time.
